TrafficGrip High Friction Surface Treatment (HFST) consists of a 2-part thermo-setting epoxy dressed with natural and pigmented angular aggregates. TrafficGrip can be applied to both asphalt and concrete surfaces by manual or machine applications. TrafficGrip is designed to reduce accidents by dramatically increasing the friction of the pavement surface. As pavement ages, it loses its frictional properties which can lead to vehicle run-off’s, especially on horizontal curves. Using contrasting colors to the existing pavement can also have an effect on speeds by creating awareness.
